Company Profile

Valves from Lübeck for the hydrogen infrastructure of the future

From standard valves to custom solutions—Mankenberg GmbH has turned its unique corporate history spanning more than 140 years into an exciting success story. Specialized knowledge combined with craftsmanship and optimized, largely digitized processes form the basis for innovative valves that are used worldwide. In the context of the energy transition, the company works closely with customers to develop custom-fit valves for the hydrogen market.

Mankenberg’s product range is based on a flexible and unique modular system. The use of high-alloy stainless steels and specialty materials in the deep-drawing process ensures compact, corrosion-resistant surfaces and reduced component weight. With their long service life and very low failure rates (MTBF), Mankenberg valves make an important contribution to operational safety when using volatile hydrogen gas in the complex facilities of the hydrogen value chain. In explosive atmospheres, ATEX-compliant Mankenberg valves are used in accordance with Product Directive 2014/34/EU.
