Die Wasserstofftauglichkeit eines Gasversorgungsnetzes muss vor dem Transport von Wasserstoff analysiert werden, unabhängig davon ob dieses Gas dem Erdgas zugemischt wird oder bestehende Leitungen für den Transport von reinem Wasserstoff zukünftig genutzt werden. Diese Tauglichkeitsbewertung umfasst systemische Aspekte und die Untersuchung aller Bauteile, die in Kontakt mit Wasserstoff kommen können sowohl was ihre Funktionalität als auch die Wasserstofftoleranz der verwendeten Materialein anbetrifft. Mit diesem Papier wird das Konzept vorgestellt, das von der Open Grid Europe verfolgt wird, um ihr Erdgasnetz für beide Transportoptionen vorzubereiten, sowie die bereits erfolgten ersten Schritte, die zu dessen Umsetzung eingeleitet wurden.
